No More Left Turns on Beaverson Boulevard thanks to New Bollards

In an effort to reduce traffic crashes and improve motor vehicle safety, the Ocean County Road Department has installed bollards (yellow barriers) on Beaverson Boulevard to prevent left turns from the Lions Head Office Park onto Beaverson Boulevard.

Despite these safety measures, some drivers are disregarding the barriers and continuing to make illegal turns, creating a dangerous situation for everyone on the road.

The Brick Township Police Department reminds all motorists that these barriers are in place for your safety and must be obeyed. This area will be actively monitored, and drivers who violate the restriction will be issued summonses for improper turning under New Jersey Title 39:4-123.

A violation of this statute carries 2 motor vehicle points in the State of New Jersey, in addition to applicable fines.
