Michael J. Goodfriend, 17, of Toms River, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick. He was a lifelong resident of Toms River. Michael was a senior attending High School East, where he was on the high honor roll. He enjoyed skateboarding, listening to music and drawing.

He was predeceased by his father, Robert L. Goodfriend.

Michael is survived by his parents, Francis and Debra Martinez and his siblings, Erick, Krista, Destiny, Victoria and Claudia Goodfriend.
