Remembering a lifelong resident of Ocean County, John Delesandro, 26 of Manchester passed away suddenly

John Delesandro, 26 of Manchester

John "Tony" Delesandro IV

DECEMBER 4, 1996 – SEPTEMBER 3, 2023

Tony graduated from Manchester High School in 2015 as well as receiving certificates for building maintenance and greenscaping from Ocean County Vocational Technical School.

Tony enjoyed fishing and boating and often spent the weekends hanging out on the Spinnakers Cove Marina dock or out on the water at popular boating sites. He was a spur-of-the-moment guy and thought nothing of taking a driving adventure with his mom to go get a good Philly cheese steak.

He enjoyed the antics of the Simpsons, watching NASCAR, and listening to Country music. He was a Buffalo Bills fan and cheered them on whenever he could watching football with his Dad.

Most importantly Tony was a kind soul who loved being around animals, especially his dogs. He was well-loved and will be sorely missed.

Tony is survived by his parents; his father, John, and his wife Phyllis, and his mother Anne Marie Joyce Delesandro. He is also survived by a host of loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Ocean Beach Fire Company #3 firehouse (40 Kittiwake Avenue Lavallette, NJ) with a beachfront ceremony at noon on September 24, 2023, repast to follow.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to NAMI- NJ.
