Ocean County Residents Charged With Heroin And Methamphetamine

Nichole Ambrosio and John E. Rivera were arrested Tuesday

According to police, heroin and methamphetamine were discovered following a motor vehicle stop in Lakehurst on Tuesday, and a Toms River woman and a Jackson male are facing drug charges.

Following the stop shortly before 5 p.m., John E. Rivera, 40, of Jackson, and Nichole Ambrosio, 35, of Toms River, are both being held in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River. Lakehurst Police Department announced Tuesday.

Police said they found 45 wax folds of heroin, an unidentified amount of methamphetamine, and a switchblade in the car, as well as "an abundance of narcotics paraphernalia."

Rivera and the driver, Ambrosio, were both charged with two charges of CDS possession, drug paraphernalia possession, being under the influence of CDS, and possessing a prohibited weapon, according to police.
