John P. Wauters, CPA of Toms River, NJ died on Saturday, September 19, 2026. He was born August 15, 1944, to Antoinette and Felix Wauters in Jersey City where he and his brother Theodore were raised. John received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Business Administration from Pace University in New York City. He left a major CPA firm in New York City to start his own firm in Toms River. He relocated to Toms River in 1971.

This free, family‑friendly event invites everyone to register a scarecrow and have it displayed throughout the downtown district — giving creators a chance to showcase their imagination to thousands of visitors.
