According to Toms River Police Department, an incidence of swatting is being looked into after a caller reported a potential shooting at High School North.
Police reported that Toms River North was locked down as a safety measure. According to them, the threat that was reported has been deemed unfounded, and the swatting investigation is in progress.Toms River Police are requesting no one respond to the school as there is no active threat.
