State Police Seek Public’s Assistance in Identifying Suspect in a Stolen Vessel Investigation The New Jersey State Police is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect involved in a stolen vessel investigation in Jersey City, Hudson County.

The New Jersey State Police is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect involved in a stolen vessel investigation in Jersey City, Hudson County.

On August 22, at approximately 11:00 p.m., troopers from the Marine Services Bureau – Carteret Station responded to a report of a stolen 1968 Hinckley Bermuda – 40-foot sail number 4066 from Liberty Harbor Marina in Jersey City.

The suspect, who was captured on video surveillance, is described as a white male wearing a black hat, black hooded sweatshirt, and black shorts. At some point during the theft, the suspect possibly changed his clothing to a blue hat and tan hooded sweatshirt.
