Celebrating the achievements of women – both past and present
In honor of Women’s History Month, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office would like to celebrate the achievements of women – both past and present from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office! Today we honor Sergeant Taryn Ritacco-Schwartz! Sgt. Ritacco-Schwartz began her law enforcement career here at OCPO as an Agent in 2000.
She was promoted to the position of Sergeant in 2018. Sgt. Ritacco-Schwartz has worked in the Juvenile Unit, Special Investigations Unit, Grand Jury Unit, Ocean County Narcotics Strike Force, High Tech Crime Unit, Special Victims Unit and has served in the Trial Unit since 2015. Sgt. Ritacco-Schwartz is a passionate advocate for the G.R.E.A.T. Program and she has been dedicated to working with students in our local schools.
Sgt. Ritacco-Schwartz is a valued resource and her depth of experience and extraordinary skill set make her an irreplaceable member of our office.
