Thousands of brave jumpers from all around the state take part in the Polar Bear Plunge at Seaside Heights every year.
It's a fantastic way for everyone to support Special Olympics New Jersey, including individuals, teams, organizations, and corporations. Plunge Schedule and Location

10 a.m. to 2 p.m 9:00 a.m. – Registration Opens
12:45 p.m. – Plungers head to beach
1:00 p.m. – PLUNGE!!! LOCATION: The plunge will take place on at the Seaside Heights Boardwalk

Because of the epidemic, this year's plunge was a virtual event, and people can participate virtually again in 2022.
The 2020 dive attracted over 7,000 participants and raised more than $2 million. The 2022 dive has so far generated just under $150,000 of its $1.8 million goal, and there is still time to sign up. More information is available here, including early-bird, or rather early-bear, discounts.
