The search continues for the killer of a mother that was found stabbed to death inside her New Jersey home. Brooke Haggerty Hanlon, a 35-year-old psychotherapist who had recently welcomed her first child, was found critically injured inside her Chester Township home on June 6. Emergency responders were initially dispatched shortly after 4:30 p.m. for what was reported as a woman experiencing cardiac arrest.

The Chester Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office are seeking the public’s assistance with providing any information concerning the death of Brooke Hanlon or suspicious activity observed in the area of Pottersville Road, Chester, NJ, on June 6, 2026.
