Group 4 state champion
Toms River North junior Ayotunde Folawewo took home gold at the NJSIAA Group 4 girls track and field championships over the weekend, becoming the first group triple jump champion in school history.
Folawewo won the triple jump with a distance of 37 feet, 5 inches, beating Maisha Valme of Elizabeth High School by 5 inches at the competition at Franklin High School.
