December 2021, Kentucky was faced with terrifying and catastrophic tornados. Many of Kentucky's State Troopers and first responders lost their homes when these tornados struck, yet they continued to serve their community every day.

Toms River Police Department employees organized a collection for gift cards to give to Kentucky after being comforted by care packages received in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

The Lester Glenn Auto Group collected a large number of gift cards, and West Dover and Cedar Grove Elementary kids created lovely Christmas cards to distribute as well!

Sgt. Chris McDowell and Sgt. Ted Malony, organized this wonderful event and are commended for offering support from afar! Toms River is overjoyed that Kentucky felt the love from the Toms River community.
