According to the Toms River Police Department, Route 9 is closed in both directions from Riverwood Drive to Hickory Street due to a motor vehicle accident, with Whiteseville Road and Vermont Avenue serving as alternate routes. Route 9 is also closed in both directions near CoxCro Road.
