The incident started on the Palisades Parkway in New Jersey, when a Honda Accord was witnessed aggressively attempting to overtake a Ford F-150 Raptor that refused to let them in. The Honda Accord tried to merge into the left lane of the highway but was blocked by a Ford F-150 Raptor.
The Raptor continued to block the Accord from getting by them, resulting in a spat.
After cutting in front of other vehicles on the road and then losing control of the vehicle and slamming into a mountainside, the Accord quickly flipped over.
According to officials, the driver of the automobile featured in the viral video above received minor injuries and was issued summonses.
According to Raymond Walter, detective sergeant first class with the
Palisades Interstate Parkway Police, Stony Point resident Michael Brabham, 27, was taken to a local hospital for treatment and charged for careless driving and weaving in traffic.
Brabham in a 2012 Honda Accord tailgating a Ford F-150 was captured on dashcam at Exit 4 in Alpine, NJ, just before 4:40 p.m. on Jan. 24, according to Walter.
The Accord is seen veering to the right onto the shoulder in the video. The driver then attempts to squeeze between the Ford and another car, but the Honda loses control and veers into a rock formation on the parkway's northbound side, flipping and overturning.
In an email to The Washington Post, Walter said, "Hopefully this video informs other drivers that driving aggressively or irresponsibly can have serious effects." "Fortunately, there were no life-threatening injuries in this accident."
