Woman Says She Was Assaulted While Walking in This NJ Town

HIGHTSTOWN, NJ — Authorities are investigating after a 34-year-old woman reported being physically and sexually assaulted while walking in Hightstown Friday evening, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.

The woman told police she was walking near Park Way and Rogers Avenue at approximately 7:30 p.m. when an unknown man approached her from behind and assaulted her.

The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office and Hightstown Police Department are continuing to investigate the incident.

As of Sunday, authorities said no arrests had been made and no suspect had been identified.
