19 Year Old Ocean County Man Arrested for Shooting Gun

Shots-Fired Incident In Beachwood

According to Beachwood police, a man has been detained in connection with a shooting that took place on Monday afternoon.

As of Wednesday, Nathaniel Cichocki, 19, of Tiller Avenue, was being held in the Ocean County Jail in connection with the shooting that took place on Monday just before 3 p.m.

A spent round casing was discovered on the road after police were called to the 300 block of Mizzen Avenue for reports of shots fired. There were numerous additional witnesses to the shooting.

According to authorities, there were no reported injuries.

According to authorities, Cichocki "was immediately discovered and captured," with Beachwood's assistance coming from the Toms River Police Department. Beachwood police said that they found and confiscated a Hi-Point Model C9 handgun.

According to Beachwood police, Cichocki has been charged with unauthorized possession of a weapon and endangering another person. There is also a second allegation of aggravated assault-strangulation, according to Ocean County Jail records. Due to the fact that the case includes domestic violence, police declined to offer specifics.

The Ocean County Sheriff's Department CSI was called to the scene, according to Beachwood police, to help with the investigation. The police departments in Berkeley Township, South Toms River, and Pine Beach also provided assistance.
