Great White Shark
About 4 miles off the coast, Mike and Kaylee Cavallo were fishing with Capt. Anthony Grassi when the young shark tried to eat their catch.
On Friday, Mike Cavallo went fishing a few miles off Point Pleasant Beach with his daughter and a friend. A great white shark attempted to devour the black sea bass that Cavallo had hooked. Cavallo won't soon forget the image that was captured at the time.
The incident occurred last Friday as Mike and Kaylee, were fishing with Capt. Anthony Grassi of FinChaser Charters out of Brick. They were on a pile of rocks in 70 feet of water, which is a favored hangout for black sea bass.
As Mike documents their excursions and posts them on his YouTube channel M&K Outdoors, which is dedicated to his fishing expeditions and other outdoor activities with Kaylee, the moment was caught on camera.
Cavallo said, "It was just really exciting, I was reeling and I saw a big shadow under the fish. All of a sudden it came out of the water." It was a moment he will never forget.
