Fatal Parkway Crash Involving Pickup Takes Life of Brick Man
According to Brick Township Police Department, and the New Jersey State Police, a man from Brick Township lost his life on Tuesday after his pickup truck veered over the Garden State Parkway in Lakewood.
According to Sgt. First Class Charles Marchan, Anthony Guido, 59, was killed in the collision that occurred on the northbound side of the Parkway close to milepost 89.8 in Lakewood at 8:14 p.m.
According to Marchan, Guido was traveling north in a Toyota pickup when it veered off the road, collided with shrubs and a guardrail, and overturned.
Guido suffered fatal injuries, he said.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available at this time.
