Congratulations, Toms River! Little League Softball Keeps Rolling — What’s Next?

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Another game, another big win for the Toms River Little League softball All-Stars.

The Toms River All-Stars are just two wins away from capturing the 12U Little League Softball World Series title after defeating Guayama, Puerto Rico, 4-0 Friday night in an elimination game in Greenville, North Carolina.

Toms River has now won three consecutive elimination games by a combined score of 28-3 after opening the tournament with a 4-1 loss to Japan.

The All-Stars will face undefeated Kentucky at 3 p.m. Saturday in the semifinal. The game will be televised live on ESPN2, with a spot in the championship game on the line.

The Toms River girls have continued their remarkable postseason run on the national stage, giving the Jersey Shore plenty to celebrate as they battle their way through the 2026 Little League Softball World Series in Greenville, North Carolina.

Toms River entered the World Series as the Mid-Atlantic Region champion after defeating Pennsylvania, 5-3, in the regional championship game. The victory capped a 4-1 regional tournament and sent the team to the World Series for the first time.

Since arriving in Greenville, the team has continued to show why it belongs among the nation's best. Toms River also defeated Bristol, Connecticut, 13-3, in an elimination game, ending Bristol's impressive run and keeping New Jersey's championship hopes alive.

What's next for Toms River?

With another victory now under their belts, Toms River is moving on to the next round of the World Series tournament.

The 2026 Little League Softball World Series is being played at Stallings Stadium at Elm Street Park in Greenville, with the tournament running through Sunday, Aug. 9.

The next major milestone is the Orange Bracket championship game Saturday, Aug. 8, at 2 p.m. ET. The winner will advance to Sunday's Little League Softball World Series championship game, scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9.
