Brick Police Warns of Potential Scam

Beware of Scammers

The Brick Township Police Department has responded to a number of situations involving people posing as representatives from utility companies. These individuals have been known to use deception techniques to gain access to your home. If they claim there is a problem with your service, always call the number on your monthly statement rather than the one they provide you. Call the number on your monthly statement if you have any queries about your services.

The Brick Police Department would like to remind citizens that utility providers do not send representatives to your home to discuss your monthly use or service bill. Please notify Brick Police at 732-262-1100 if you feel you have been the victim of a scam. Residents are reminded that door-to-door solicitation requires a permit from the clerk's office.
