Former Yankees and Mets player Todd Frazier Going for the Gold in Tokyo

From Little League World Series to Tokyo Olympics

Former Yankees and Mets player Todd Frazier from Toms River, New Jersey has been having the time of his life representing the USA baseball team in the 2020 Olympics.

Many of us Toms River residents has followed Todd on his baseball career which started when he was 12 years old playing for the Toms River East American Little League All-Star team that won the New Jersey State Championship and then the US East Regional Championship which then led the team to advance to the 1998 Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

The 1998 Little League World Series took place from August 23–29 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Toms River, New Jersey, defeated Kashima, Ibaraki, Japan in the championship game of the 52nd Little League World Series.

Frazier will now be competing against Japan once again tomorrow at 6 am for the Gold Medal.
