Vincent J. Curchy, Jr., age 78, of Toms River, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2026. Born in Red Bank, NJ, Vincent later moved to Valisburg, NJ. A proud veteran, Vincent served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army. Following his military service, he pursued a career in sales, first at Alans Florist in Brick, NJ, and then at North East Electric Static Spray Paint in Howell, NJ, where he dedicated himself until his retirement.

Vincent J. Curchy, Jr., age 78, of Toms River, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2026. Born in Red Bank and raised in Valisburg, Vincent carried the warmth, grit, and heart of New Jersey with him throughout his life.

A proud United States Army veteran, Vincent honorably served his country during the Vietnam War. His service shaped the strength and resilience that would define him for decades to come. After returning home, Vincent built a long and dedicated career in sales — first at Alans Florist in Brick, where his eye for beauty and detail flourished, and later at North East Electric Static Spray Paint in Howell, where he worked faithfully until his retirement.

A proud veteran, Vincent served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army. Vincent lived life with a spirited enthusiasm. He found joy in the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and he had a remarkable talent for crafting stunning flower arrangements and woodworking pieces. Yet nothing brought him more happiness than time spent with his grandchildren. Their laughter, milestones, and everyday moments were the treasures of his life.

He is reunited in heaven with his father, Vincent J. Curchy, Sr.; his mother, Doris Melynchuk; his stepfather, James Melynchuk; and his sister, Susan Candace Melynchuk.

Vincent leaves behind his beloved daughters, Monique Curchy and Gabrielle Weyandt and her husband, Thomas. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: IsabellaRose and Vincent Gradaille, and Mason Weyandt. He shared a meaningful and enduring bond with the mother of his children, Donna Marie Curchy, and leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will forever remember his kindness, humor, and unwavering love.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 5 to 7 PM at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Avenue, Toms River. Family and friends are invited to gather, honor Vincent’s remarkable life, and share the memories that will continue to keep his spirit alive.

May his legacy of love, devotion, and joy live on in all who knew him.
