Largest Crowd Ever at Seaside Heights Polar Plunge for Special Olympics

Approximately $2.4million was raised this year.

Each year, the Polar Bear Plunge at Seaside challenges thousands of brave jumpers from around the state. It's a great way for everyone--individuals, teams, organizations and businesses--to get involved supporting Special Olympics New Jersey. All funds raised go towards programming and events for thousands of athletes statewide.

The Special Olympics New Jersey's 31st Polar Bear Plunge. Up to 65,000 people risked the 38 degree weather to attend and take part in this significant event.

Over 8,000 people dove into the 41-degree Atlantic on Saturday at 1 p.m., generating an incredible $2.75 million for Special Olympics New Jersey. Where else can you raise more than $2 million in three minutes?
