NJ Teen Wanted for Kidnapping Has Been Located
According to Vineland, NJ Police Department, 16 year old Akera Johns was safely located after being on the run for kidnapping.
Over the weekend, the Vineland adolescent abducted a one-year-old boy from the Cumberland Family Shelter on Mays Landing Road in Vineland and refused to give him back to his mother, according to the police.The juvenile was still at large, according to the U.S. Marshals Service, but the toddler was located in Philadelphia on Monday and reunited with his mother.
The teen was found over night in Vineland, according to a statement from the police department on Wednesday morning. Her juvenile status prevented the disclosure of further information.
