After Grabbing a Boiling Teapot, the Youngster Sustained Burns to her Stomach and Legs

According to Toms River Police, a one-year-old child was taken to the hospital on Sunday after pulling a hot teapot off a table in a Main Street house.

According to Toms River Police spokesperson Jillian Messina, paramedics were called to the home at 1:50 p.m. Sunday, when they treated and then took the youngster to a medevac chopper.

According to her, the child's abdomen and legs were burned.

Messina said the girl was rushed to Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston's burn center.

According to her, police found that the act was unintentional.
