Toms River East To Compete in Little League World Series
Despite a great effort by Toms River East Little League they were defeated by Nebraska in the opening outing at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Toms River East lost 5-2 to Nebraska on Thursday night but that does not mean they are not done fighting. Their Championship World Series hope is still alive. Toms River drops into the loser’s bracket and will play Manchester, Connecticut, at 3 p.m. Saturday needing a win to stay alive. You can watch the game on ABC.
