Supporting Mia Martinez’s Fight for Recovery. While returning home, Mia was struck by a vehicle directly in front of her home as she was crossing the street. She was rushed to her local trauma center, where doctors quickly realized that only a fraction of her injuries were initially visible. This fundraiser has been created to help alleviate the immense financial stress that the Martinez family will soon face. All funds raised will go directly to Mia and her family to support her medical care, therapies, treatments, and long-term recovery needs.

Life Changed in Minutes: A South Jersey House Fire’s Lasting Effects. On the night of Jan. 31, a neighbor told Hazem Abdalla to rush home immediately. He arrived to find the Cherry Hill house that he and his father shared was engulfed in flames. Eid Abdalla, 69, died in the fire. Hazem says Eid was his only close family member, so the fire left him homeless and without immediate family.

Allyson “Ally” Legora lost her life far too soon in a tragic motor vehicle accident. There are no words that can ease the pain of losing someone so young, with so much life ahead of her.
