The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office has announced that it is actively seeking qualified applicants for the position of Coordinator of Forensic Nurse Examiners, a key role within the county’s Special Victims Unit (SVU).

The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office honors and remembers Ocean County native - New Jersey State Trooper Marc Castellano, who was struck and killed on the side of the road in the line of duty 16 years ago.

Colin Michael Fresca, 41, of Manchester, NJ passed away on June 6, 2026. Colin was born in Toms River and settled in Manchester where met his beloved wife Erin and stepson David Larangeira. They were also blessed to welcome son Rhys to their family. His love and support for his family and friends were unparalleled. He will be remembered for his quick wit, fantastic sense of humor, his kindness and so much more.
