New Jersey State Police Update Most Wanted Fugitive Targets The New Jersey State Police Fugitive Unit has updated New Jersey’s Most Wanted List. In coordination with local law enforcement partners, the Fugitive Unit has added an individual to the list.

On May 3, 2026, at approximately 2:45 a.m., an incident involving the impersonation of a law enforcement officer occurred on I‑80 westbound prior to Exit 28 in Roxbury Township, Morris County. The victim reported being stopped by an individual posing as a police officer (in pictured red Chrysler 200), subjected to field sobriety tests, and handcuffed.
