A continuously updated database of New Jersey arrest records is drawing heavy daily traffic as residents track local law‑enforcement activity across Ocean County. The statewide mugshot and booking portal, updated two to three times per day, provides recent arrest information from Toms River, Brick, Lakewood, Jackson, Lacey, Manchester, and dozens of surrounding municipalities.

Angela Germano, a beloved Language Arts teacher at Intermediate East, has been officially named the 2026–2027 Ocean County Teacher of the Year, marking a major milestone for both her school and the Toms River Regional School District. The honor was announced Aug. 11 during a New Jersey Department of Education ceremony in Ewing Township, where 21 educators—one from each county—were recognized for excellence in teaching. Germano is the first TRRS educator to earn the county distinction since 2022–2023.
